This past Sunday, July 14 was the St. Louis Best Cake Dive and Bridal Show. For the first time, it was held at Orland’s Event Centers in Maryland Heights.
All brides-to-be and their future husbands, or a friend or relative were able to attend the event for free.
There were more than 100 boths, one being our Tower Studios booth.
10 brides-to-be tossed their names in a hat fort the Cake Dive. The brides that participated had their hands tucked behind their backs and dove face-first into a multi-tiered cake for prizes.
Some prizes included a Funjet Vacation from Travel Haus at an El Dorado resort, a reception package at Orland’s Event Centers, and more gifts from The Ultimate Bride, Savvi Formalwear, McArthur’s Bakery, Walter Knoll Florist, and Belleza Salon and Spa. Also, gift certificates were given out by TKO DJs and Dillard’s.
Most brides-to-be come looking for fashion advice, wedding décor ideas, and inspiration. They ended up leaving with a handful of items from vendors, and a swag bag with specials from wedding providers.
Overall, the Best Cake Dive and Bridal Show went great, and we look forward to next year.
