Tissue paper is such a fun, easy, and very cost-effective décor item to add to your wedding day. You could skip spending a fortunate on actual flowers, and create your own, unique tissue paper flowers instead. They would make really great centerpieces bunched together in a vase.
All you need are scissors, tissue paper, and pipe cleaners.
Simply create a middle of the flower by rolling the pipe cleaner over a few times to create what looks like a knot. Then, you’ll need to cut your tissue paper into circles, stars, hearts, or whatever shape you want your flower to look like. Be sure to cut some small, medium, and large sizes to make your flower look like it has already bloomed. Use the sharp end of the pipe cleaner to poke holes through the center of your tissue paper. Once you have all of your tissue paper pieces on your pipe cleaner, start scrunching your tissue paper to give it a lifted flower look.
Do as many as needed.
