During the height of the pandemic, many Netflix shows debuted, giving us all something fresh to enjoy while passing the time. Perhaps, the most famous of these was the eye-catching, romance drama—Bridgerton. Huge audiences have been drawn to the show and books, and have caught themselves dreaming about living in the romantic 1800s.
So it’s no surprise that brides are wondering, “How can I have my own Bridgerton-style wedding?” Well, we here at Tower Studios have a few tips!
Themed Invites
Themed invites can help make your wedding magical even before the day arrives. Adding beautiful and antique stationery will make your guests feel like they are getting an invite from the characters themselves. You can create this amazing look by adding old paper, faint details like gold foil and hand-lettering, or even using a wax seal.
Flowers
If you love flowers, you’re in the right spot. Flowers are the main detail for a Bridgerton-inspired wedding. The more flowers the better! You can channel Bridgerton aesthetic with light and pastel colors, or pair your favorite shades of pink, blue, yellow, and orange alongside some beautiful greenery that will help those magnificent colors stand out.
Color Scheme
Speaking of colors, when choosing yours you can emulate Bridgerton’s palette by selecting something light and airy, featuring tones of pinks and blues. Or if you are into darker colors you can still add a hint of Bridgerton by using their accent colors of gold, rose gold, or sky blue.
Fun details
If you really want to feel like you are having your wedding on the Bridgerton set, fun details can make your day even more magical. One couple even chose to add the Duke’s white horse to their wedding photos, but you don’t have to go that far, unless you feel like it. You can request that the bridal party, family, and guests dress up as the main characters. Or you can add dialogue or dances to your wedding or reception that were featured in the show, guaranteeing a smile from all your fellow viewers.
We can’t wait to see what it looks like when Bridgerton meets you!
